As winter sets in and we break out the cozy sweaters and razais, there’s that one niggling thing about the season that just isn’t welcome. The sneezes, sniffles and coughs that are almost inevitable at least once this season.
All the hot drinks in the world will soothe you once you do catch that cold but one way to try and beat the bugs is to boost your immune system with foods that are really really good for you. And one delicious way to do that is with fresh juices, made at home, using fresh fruits and vegetables packed with vitamins and minerals.
You can use almost any combination of fruits and vegetables and you’ll probably end up with something delicious. Oranges, Lemons and Honey. Carrots and Pineapple. Spinach, Pears and Ginger. Beetroot, Apple and Orange. Apple and Cucumber. You get the picture.
This mood boosting juice is one of our favourites and is filled with wintery goodness. Apples and Carrots are going to be beautiful the next few months so take every chance you can to enjoy them, raw, in salads, and especially in this juice.
